1. Who we are

Purespace is a trading name of Willows Property ("we", "us", "our"), operated as a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. We operate a booking platform that connects customers ("you", "customers") with independent, self-employed cleaners ("cleaners"). You can contact us at contact@willowsproperty.co.uk.

2. Our role

Purespace acts as a booking agent. The cleaning services themselves are provided by independent cleaners who are not employees, partners or sub-contractors of Purespace. The contract for the cleaning service is between you and the cleaner. Purespace is responsible for the booking platform, payment processing and dispute support — not for the standard of the cleaning itself.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over and able to enter into a legally binding contract to use Purespace.

4. Bookings and payments

  • Prices shown include the cleaner's rate and the Purespace service fee. VAT is added where applicable.
  • Payment is taken at the time of booking via our payment provider, Stripe.
  • We hold funds until the booking is complete, then release the cleaner's portion to them.
  • You authorise us to charge your payment method for any agreed extras, late-cancellation fees or damages, where permitted by law.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate booking details, safe access and a safe working environment.
  • Secure valuables and pets before the cleaner arrives.
  • Treat cleaners with respect — abusive or discriminatory behaviour will result in your account being closed.

7. Cleaner standards

All cleaners on Purespace confirm that they are registered as self-employed with HMRC, hold valid public liability insurance and have a valid enhanced DBS certificate. We carry out checks during onboarding, but we cannot guarantee the conduct of any individual cleaner.

8. Complaints and disputes

If you're not happy with a clean, contact us within 48 hours of the booking and we'll work with you and the cleaner to put it right. Eligible complaints may result in a re-clean, a partial refund or a full refund at our discretion.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Purespace's total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the booking giving rise to the claim. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Claims for damage caused by a cleaner during a booking should first be raised with the cleaner and their public liability insurer. Purespace will help facilitate this process.

10. Account suspension

We may suspend or close any account that breaches these terms, attempts to bypass Purespace to book cleaners off-platform, or behaves in a way that puts other users at risk.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email and post the updated version on this page.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
